I have been a practicing Social Worker for over 30 years. It has been my passion to help those in need . We have successfully helped our client develop healthier coping skills and master the challenges that impact and affect their current emotional health. Whether working with individuals or couples, the particular intervention we use may vary according to individual or family needs. My approach to therapy is a holistic and systemic approach. I work with individuals from the understanding that we are all impacted greatly by our families and the environment in which we live. I also focus on working with families and couples to improve a healthy relationship that is mutually beneficial. I work with my clients on enhancing their strengths and working through challenges to live the life that they deserve.

I have been practicing Mental Health therapy in New York since 2013. I have always found myself in the field starting from my time in the U.S. Navy. I have over 18 years working, living and learning internationally as well as domestically. My practice focuses on adults experiencing anxiety, career changes, family dynamics and phases of life. I do not have hospital privileges nor prescribe medications.

As a therapist, I integrate psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and body-mind perspectives while being mindful of the impact stress, culture, and life-stages have on all our lives. Often when people struggle, we find that an authentic and lively part of them was suppressed. This suppression of self is often a strategy used to adapt to circumstances and people that don't validate (or may even punish) the full range of who you are.

Hello everyone, please welcome and allow me to first begin in thanking you. The choice to start therapy isn’t always easy, sometimes it is the most difficult thing to do is to even consider it, then admit you want/need it before even taking the steps to start, but you are not alone on this journey. Perhaps there has been times that you have found yourself feeling stressed, down, lacking confidence, or stuck in a pattern that no longer serves you. Perhaps you’re ready to take steps toward changes but feel stuck or unsure where to start. Or even feeling lost in your relationships in life or even disconnected from them.

Often times, we as individuals will struggle with our relationships with our families, employers, and even acquaintances. When dealing with everyday life we need to recognize how we can approach each individual differently. Personally I would like to address anger management techniques and manage stress and anxiety with individuals in their daily lives. Learning to control the trajectories in our lives and aim for healthy relationships with all individuals we encounter can maximize our relationships. My mission is to address cultural issues within our homes and co dependency.
