We integrate IFS, EMDR, DBT, ACT, and other third-wave approaches through a liberation-centered, anti-oppressive lens.
The ideal client is ready to stop shrinking, performing, or proving their worth just to be seen as whole. They might be carrying depression, shame, internalized oppression, disconnection, or a life shaped more by survival than by desire. Many of them have spent years doing what was expected of them, achieving, holding things together, meeting other people's definitions of okay, and now they're ready for something different: truth, purpose, and freedom in how they live. We work together on helping you feel safe in your body, trust your voice, and build a life that reflects your actual values instead of the ones you were handed.

We all experience life challenges and emotional distress. While we may have been encouraged to believe in the importance of handling things independently, that belief can actually cause more pressure and result in a less secure feeling. The stronger path to a solution may be found with the help of someone else, but who do you turn to? Family and friends often think they know what's best without really attending to your personal preferences, and others may overreact or simply not understand. I can offer you a place that is emotionally safe to explore your difficulties and to build your strengths.

I've completed advanced training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems ( IFS).
You're accomplished on paper, but lately the pressure feels heavier. Self-doubt creeps in despite your track record. Maybe you're an entrepreneur feeling isolated, or an executive battling imposter syndrome. Perfectionism has shifted from motivating to paralyzing. You need someone who understands the unique demands of leadership and high performance, the weight of responsibility, fear of failure, and loneliness of being the person everyone relies on. You want clarity, tools to manage performance anxiety, and space to process what's holding you back. You're not broken, you want to optimize how you think and perform.

The sage Lao Tzu said, "At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want". There is a deep drive inside of us to form meaningful connections to ourselves, to family, and to community. This is a journey you do not have to take alone. My clients have come to me when going through such life changes, crisis, burnout, the end of a relationship, or a major job shift. I help them navigate these rocky waters and provide a safe haven for them to be seen, heard, validated, understood, and - if need be - challenged.

I use internal family systems to explore inner conflicts and strengthen self-awareness, and dialectical behavior therapy to support emotion regulation and resilience.
Living with trauma that's repeated or lasted for years isn't something you just 'get over.' Especially when it's shaped your entire way of being. I work with individuals who are experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, or mood disorders, many of whom have been told to "try harder" or "calm down" for most of their lives. You might feel like you're always on edge, or like something bad is about to happen, even when things seem okay. Or maybe your brain feels like it's running in 20 different directions at once, and it's exhausting just trying to keep up.

Do you hear your inner critic telling you, “I am not good enough,” “I am not worth it?” Does it feel overwhelming to experience uncertainty in everyday life and relationships? The key is to understand why certain relationship patterns repeat—and more importantly, why you repeat them, even when you know they don't help. I help young professionals move from self-criticism to being able to show up as their full selves—without needing to earn belonging by shrinking, pleasing, or proving. My intention is for you to come to a place where you can speak clearly—so you can feel like an active agent in your daily life and relationships.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
