Oftentimes people have difficulties facing their life stressors and/or experienced trauma. This can manifest itself by symptoms of anxiety, depression, unhealthy patterns in thinking or behaviors and unhealthy lifestyle choices. As a result, the different roles we play within our lives becomes affected and our relationships suffer. I help my clients navigate through their stress by helping them learn healthier ways of coping, while exploring together what factors within their life are contributing to debilitating or bothersome symptoms. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience working with adults and young adults using trauma-informed interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapies (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) techniques. My therapy style focuses on change as a constant and certain part of life. It emphasizes what is changeable and possible.
