I believe meaningful change begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. Together, we'll explore the patterns and experiences that no longer serve you and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. My background as a musician and teaching artist shapes the way I connect with others, grounding my work in warmth, creativity, and collaboration. Because healing can happen in many ways, I also offer Walk and Talk therapy for clients who prefer to reflect and process while moving outdoors.

For those in the BDSM/ Kink & ENM communities, I draw on my lifestyle experience & clinical training to offer you support & affirmation of your orientation & lifestyle.
I’m a Holistic Psychotherapist, here to help you connect with all parts of you, to align with your values & desires, & to speak your truth & claim your power! I know how painful it is to feel unseen & misunderstood- especially when seeking help. In traditional therapy you can wind up talking in circles, never getting to the root of the issue, finding no resolution, revelation or change. It's disheartening to see a therapist who doesn't get you or your experience. I listen for what lives beneath your words - attuning to what language can't always capture. I can help you tap into the wisdom of your body & spirit.

My clients come to me for many reasons. Trauma. Relationship struggles. Identity questions. Anxiety. Life transitions. What they find here is a clinician with over 20 years of experience, trained in EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, IFS, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. What makes my practice distinctive is that I also bring specialized sex therapy training. I am one of the few therapists who will ask about your sexual history because that story is always part of the picture, even when no one has thought to ask.

My ideal clients are looking to build more fulfilling relationships with themselves and the people in their lives—as this intersects with mental health journeys as BIPOC, queer and trans folks, polyamorous/CNM/ENM/RA folks, allies/accomplices, neurodiverse folks & people of all identities with feminist/social justice values. I help people dream and envision the lives they want—in their bodies, their sexuality, their healing, their relationships/friendships/families, their work, in their spheres of influence—and move towards them. I help people heal & grow from patterns that we formed out of survival or socialization.

In a world that rewards us for disconnecting from our bodies and settling for surface-level relationships, reconnection becomes a revolutionary act. This is why I find myself especially connected to the work of supporting people who feel disconnected from their bodies and relationships. Many people find themselves living primarily from the neck up: intellectualizing experiences rather than fully feeling them, sensing that something important is missing without quite being able to name it. Sometimes there's a history of trauma that made disconnection necessary, or cultural messages that prioritized achievement over embodiment.

Clients I work best with often feel stuck, yet aware that their own patterns, fears, or self-doubt have become barriers to the life they want. They’re reflective, open-minded, and ready to engage honestly in the therapeutic process. Rather than seeking a quick fix during crisis, they view therapy as ongoing care: a space to build insight, accountability, and sustainable growth. Their goal isn’t just relief, but meaningful change, self-understanding, and a life that feels intentional and aligned with who they are becoming.

You've read the email fourteen times. Pulled Tarot until you got the safe answer. Explained your no in five paragraphs and still felt like the bad guy. You've done the therapy, the journaling, the rituals, and on Monday morning your chest still flutters the second you open your laptop. The missing piece isn't more insight. It's your body. I'm a somatic therapist and coach with 17+ years of clinical training — Gestalt, Hakomi, Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy, and a lifelong practice in astrology, tarot, and Andean mysticism. And I don't make you choose between the two.

I am a certified EMDR therapist. Are you holding onto distress or overwhelming emotions tied to past scary or traumatic events? Did you grow up in a chaotic environment or have caregivers who couldn't meet your needs? Maybe you are currently navigating major life transitions like reproductive trauma or grief. Perhaps you continue to engage in behaviors despite knowing they no longer serve you. Would you like help confronting something you're avoiding, establishing healthy boundaries, or deepening connection and intimacy with those you care about? If you answered yes to any of these, EMDR may be right for you.

People come to therapy for a variety of different reasons. Some individuals embark on a therapeutic process with specific goals in mind or because they have recently been impacted by particularly challenging life events. Others may pursue therapy and specifically creative arts psychotherapy as an on-going process toward deeper self-knowledge, growth, and healing. I offer individuals and couples an approach that is holistic, client-centered, non-judgmental and creative through traditional talk therapy, creative arts infused therapy, and often a synthesis of the two.

Life can be challenging. Therapy can be a way to help you navigate the messiness and begin to understand why you may feel stuck or what might be causing your important relationships to suffer. Starting therapy can be both daunting and exciting, and finding the right therapist is key. Together, we will create a space of trust and connection. We will explore what feels most pressing to you right now, as well as look back at old patterns and early experiences that may be holding you back from greater happiness and ease. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and non-judgmental.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
