When working with adolescents to older adults, I find that combining a person-centered therapy model with CBT, Gestalt, and Mindfulness interventions can be especially helpful.
There are times when we ask ourselves questions we feel we have no answers to: "Why am I not happy?", "How do I improve my life?" and "Will I ever find a solution to this problem that is consistent and stressful?". Have hope! The answers are there inside of you, waiting to be discovered. I strive to support my clients without judgement, challenging those who are ready to explore themes of personal responsibility, meaning, and resolution. Through genuine client/therapist interactions, the emotional impact of trauma, loss, depression, and/or anxiety can be relieved, and answers found.

You may feel exhausted trying to keep everything together. Many of the clients I work with are navigating postpartum depression, infertility struggles, or the pressure of balancing work, relationships, and parenting. Some are new parents wondering how to give their baby the care they deserve while still managing their own needs. Others are women newly diagnosed with ADHD or adults struggling to focus at work or school. I also support teens, adults, couples, and families working through childhood trauma, social anxiety, or relationship communication challenges while trying to feel more steady in their lives.

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable and overwhelming. Taking this first step often requires courage. If you are feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges, you do not have to navigate it alone. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. Together, we will make sense of your story, explore the challenges you are carrying, and work toward meaningful change.

The core of my work has been to help people find solutions that work, to problems that prevent them from moving forward and living satisfying lives and relationships. I help people who feel stuck, to overcome life’s challenges, regain control of their lives and become the managers of their own self. Over the last 17 years I have been working with adults, teenagers and children from different cultures both in the US and overseas. Through my specialization and experience in severe and persistent mental illness I help people tackle emotional and communication difficulties that interfere with their relationships with friends, family

Working with individuals, couples, teens and children I have come to understand that we all want to be heard so that we may experience a healthier, productive life. Often, we experience conflict and troublesome behaviors that prevent us from feeling happy and satisfied. Depression, anxiety and a myriad of other self-defeating conditions or behaviors can emerge that interfere with our everyday relationships and can cause many difficulties in our lives. My approach is to work closely with you, through any issues, in an atmosphere of acceptance and support, designed to address your needs.
