My approach is integrative and deeply collaborative, blending IFS, CBT, DBT, and ACT to create personalized, effective treatment tailored to your needs.
Our first session is about connection and exploration. I’ll create a warm, judgment-free space where we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and how we can work together. This is a time to get a feel for the process, set initial goals, and begin laying the foundation for growth and healing.

Buen Camino! It's a saying on a pilgrimage. Life is a journey with valleys and summits. It's not about the destination but the journey. It' easier with guidance on the way. I am a therapist that goes to therapy. I believe in the healing power and magic of safe spaces that allow us to be authentic. I've been a therapist for 15 years and have accumulated experience working with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, infertility, bereavement, suicide, impostor syndrome, immigration reunification, disabilities, personality disorders and depression. I have received training in epilepsy and PNES.

Feeling Disconnected from Your Partner? You Don’t Have to Stay Stuck. It’s hard when you feel like you’re drifting apart, arguing more than laughing, or wondering if your relationship can survive. You may feel frustrated, unheard, or unsure of what to do next and that uncertainty can be exhausting. I work with couples who want more than just temporary fixes. Together, we uncover the patterns that keep you stuck, improve communication, and help each partner understand themselves and each other.

I am level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems( parts work).
You’ve found a safe place to land; a mindful space to reconnect with yourself and begin again. As a first-generation Asian American therapist and meditation instructor, I understand how complex it can feel to navigate multiple identities while trying to stay grounded. You may be holding so much for others that you’ve lost touch with your own stillness. My work weaves together mindfulness, compassion, and evidence-based care to help you return to presence, remember who you are beneath the noise, and find a balance that feels both peaceful and real.

Using psychotherapy and the dynamics of family systems I focus on helping individuals, couples, and families work through a variety of psychological and emotional challenges.
As an MFT in addition to Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) I use relational and systemic approaches in every session. This is because I have an understanding that individual behaviors and mental health are heavily influenced by relationships and or family environments. By focusing on these connections, this practice strives to facilitate healing and enhance communication within relationships. This process leads to healthier dynamics and improved well-being for everyone involved. Through therapy, clients will gain valuable insights, develop coping strategies, and work toward a fulfilling relationship with themselves and others.

Hello everyone, please welcome and allow me to first begin in thanking you. The choice to start therapy isn’t always easy, sometimes it is the most difficult thing to do is to even consider it, then admit you want/need it before even taking the steps to start, but you are not alone on this journey. Perhaps there has been times that you have found yourself feeling stressed, down, lacking confidence, or stuck in a pattern that no longer serves you. Perhaps you’re ready to take steps toward changes but feel stuck or unsure where to start. Or even feeling lost in your relationships in life or even disconnected from them.

I work with a wide range of patients from young children to older adults. I approach therapy from a patient-focused and strengths-based lens, believing that each individual has the capacity to overcome life's challenges when it comes to all areas of work, relationships, and family. Additionally, growing up in a Chinese (Fujianese) immigrant family in America, I understand the impact of generational trauma and cultural identity struggles that first generational individuals and people of color may deal with. I work with patients and within the community to mend and grow from these experiences.

I am certified in EMDR and IFS and trained in EFT- clinically proven modalities to help you attain your best mental health goals.
We all go through the journey called ‘life’. We often don’t realize how our past experiences play out in our daily lives. We then have various reactions which can hinder our levels of function- emotional, physical and spiritual. Through therapy, I work with my clients to guide them in exploring, understanding, and accepting their experiences. Together, we develop tools to help manage their different symptoms and improve well-being.

I can help you find your path to healing using EMDR, cognitive behavioral, somatic (mind-body), and Internal Family Systems therapies.
I specialize in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that changes how your mind and body react to past experiences and current challenges. Whether healing from trauma, repairing attachment wounds, or supporting your ability to thrive despite oppression or chronic illness, EMDR is a powerful tool to create deep and lasting changes, sometimes in very few sessions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
