You do not have to carry this alone. Life can feel overwhelming. You might be navigating intense anxiety, depression, or strained relationships. Major transitions and past trauma often leave you feeling exhausted, isolated, and stuck. Therapy offers a safe space to slow down. Together, we will look beneath the surface to understand your pain and begin your healing journey.

The last few years have challenged all of us in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Many people have had to stay strong and keep going—only to realize later how much the stress, loss, and uncertainty have taken a toll. I created my telehealth private practice to offer a safe, accessible space for healing and support. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and PTSD, and I’m especially passionate about working with members of tthe LGBTQ+ community. As a queer-affirming therapist, my goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, without having to explain or defend your identity

I believe there is strength to be found in our weaknesses, love to be found through our pain, and light after our darkest days. The pain of healing comes with the self-awareness that otherwise may be over looked. When it becomes more painful to stay in our past then it is scary to step out of it is when the journey begins. I walk beside my clients, not in-front or behind. I remain steady and follow their lead. I provide the safety and hope that everyone needs to face their pain, to feel their pain, and to keep going anyway.

I practice psychotherapy from a relational lens; I believe meaningful change happens within a genuine, engaged relationship. I show up as myself in sessions: attentive, authentic, and human—because therapy doesn’t need to feel overly formal to be effective. There’s room here for both laughter and tears, and often they show up in the same session!

I use an integrated approach that blends psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered therapies.
Life can be stressful, challenging, and overwhelming at times. You may feel sad, depressed, anxious, and worried. Coping with these uncomfortable feelings and emotions can often be difficult. "All the world is full of suffering; it is also full of overcoming," said the American author Helen Keller. I strongly believe that you have the strength within yourself to overcome any obstacles that life brings with my therapeutic assistance and guidance. I will create a safe, warm, and empathetic environment to enhance progress toward your goals, support personal growth, and encourage positive change.

I draw from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, and mindfulness practices.
Welcome. If you’ve been holding it all together on the outside while feeling anxious, disconnected, or uncertain inside, you’re not alone. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, identity, and life transitions. In therapy, I create a space that feels grounding and human, where you can finally exhale, reflect, and start to feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll make sense of what feels heavy and build the confidence and self-trust to move forward with clarity and compassion.

I draw on both my Psychodynamic training and Cognitive Behavioral approaches.
If you’re reading this, your child is likely facing significant challenges. Are they worrying, acting out, highly emotional, maybe hyperactive or inattentive? Their struggles are affecting their happiness, leaving you feeling anxious and unsure. Understanding and managing childhood behaviors can be tough. Navigating the teenage years adds another layer of complexity. Emotional outbursts can create conflict making you feel helpless. Teens retreat to their room, shut down; raising worries about their well-being. Their grades may be slipping, socially they seem lost, little self esteem; leaving you puzzled about these rapid changes.

Licensed in New York in addition to Florida for Telehealth. The first step towards change begins with seeking support outside yourself. It is a daunting and frightening choice for many. The relief from sharing whatever you are struggling with can bring tremendous and sometimes immediate relief. It is the first bridge towards change. Being at peace with yourself is an important part of healing and growth. I am a dedicated and conscientious professional and will respond promptly to anyone who seeks help.

Psychodynamic Therapists
Is psychodynamic therapy evidence-based?
Studies have found psychodynamic therapy to be effective in treating conditions like social anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, some personality disorders, and depression; indeed, some studies have found it to be just as effective as CBT or medication. What’s more, several studies have found that the benefits of psychodynamic therapy tend to endure—even grow—long after treatment has ended.

How long does psychodynamic therapy last?
Unlike CBT and other more structured forms of therapy, psychodynamic therapy tends to be open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a year or longer and to see their therapist one to three times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a client’s challenges and progress. However, brief psychodynamic therapy is available, which tends to be more goal-oriented and typically unfolds over 16 to 30 sessions.

Does psychodynamic therapy work?
Research finds that psychodynamic therapy can help someone manage or reduce symptoms of diagnosable mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. The modality may also offer a range of benefits that are harder to measure but just as valuable—such as increased self-worth or healthier relationships. While no therapy type will work for everyone, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that psychodynamic therapy can be highly effective.

What are the limitations of psychodynamic therapy?
Some meta-analyses have concluded that there is little evidence to suggest that psychodynamic therapy can effectively treat certain mental health conditions such as PTSD, OCD, or psychosis, though it is sometimes used to do so. More broadly, the open-ended, free-association structure of psychodynamic therapy may be frustrating for clients who prefer a more structured, time-limited, or goal-oriented approach.
