I believe there is strength to be found in our weaknesses, love to be found through our pain, and light after our darkest days. The pain of healing comes with the self-awareness that otherwise may be over looked. When it becomes more painful to stay in our past then it is scary to step out of it is when the journey begins. I walk beside my clients, not in-front or behind. I remain steady and follow their lead. I provide the safety and hope that everyone needs to face their pain, to feel their pain, and to keep going anyway.

The last few years have challenged all of us in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Many people have had to stay strong and keep going—only to realize later how much the stress, loss, and uncertainty have taken a toll. I created my telehealth private practice to offer a safe, accessible space for healing and support. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and PTSD, and I’m especially passionate about working with members of tthe LGBTQ+ community. As a queer-affirming therapist, my goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, without having to explain or defend your identity

If you're a millenial or gen-x woman who is TIRED, tired after all the "work" you've done, tired from the constant push to the next goal, let's chat. You feel like you've come so far, achieved so much in your personal and professional life, yet something is still missing. You're craving a deep sense of relief, that you've never been able to access in talk therapy. It's hard for you to relax and your tired of pretending, pushing forward. You feel dysregulated most of the time, you try your best to manage, but you're ready to feel like your best self. You're ready for deeper healing, to finally release the stress, anxiety and trauma.

A presenting diagnosis is hardly the full story, it is merely the doorway by which we enter. Our work together will create a framework whereby you can initiate and maintain a relationship with your pain, and come to see it as an invitation for you to make contact with your higher, authentic self. Through investing in this process, you will transform the way you experience yourself and heal.

You've done your best to hold it all together-on the outside, you seem fine. But inside, you feel disconnected, exhausted, or stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you. You've spent years years meeting everyone else's needs while quietly burying your own. In relationships, you often feel emotionally alone-craving deeper connection, reciprocity, and space to be fully yourself. Maybe you're healing from betrayal, carrying grief, or struggling with intimacy or self-worth. You're ready for something more: to feel safe in your body, grounded in your truth, and finally connected to yourself, others, and life.

Have you ever felt caught between two worlds, unsure of where you truly belong? As an Asian American and the child of first-generation immigrant caretakers, I understand how hard it can be to navigate cultural and familial expectations while also trying to find your own way. The weight of childhood trauma, emotional struggles, or a complicated relationship with weight and self-image can leave you feeling stuck. I’ve walked that path myself, and learned that Change Is Possible and Your past doesn’t define you. I am now privileged to have the opportunity to support others as they reconnect with their authentic selves.

Let’s Talk Food & Mood. Often times we find ourselves in a constant state of overwhelm. Work, kids, relationships, finances, loss and bereavement are contributing factors. Would you consider yourself an emotional or stress eater? Science has proven that unhealthy food choices and erratic meal patterns create digestive issues which deplete the serotonin levels in the brain. This is a direct correlation to mood swings, anxiety, depression, brain fog, headaches and sadness. Consider contacting me for a free consultation today. It’s not about what you fill your plate with, it’s what you fill your mind with that will create change.

Attachment-based Therapists
Is attachment-based therapy the same as attachment therapy?
Attachment-based therapy may be confused with what is called “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy”), a discredited and dangerous approach to treating children with attachment disorders, autism, or other mental health concerns. Attachment therapy—not attachment-based therapy—may involve restraining a child, forcing eye contact, and other coercive or abusive techniques. None of these practices are used in attachment-based therapy and the two modalities are in no way related.

What should I expect from attachment-based therapy?
Attachment-based therapy is based on attachment theory, which posits that children’s early relationships with their caregivers strongly influence their ability to navigate the world later in life. Thus, adults who seek attachment-based therapy should expect to deeply explore their childhood, identifying the dynamics or experiences that disrupted their attachment and the steps necessary to overcome challenges that arose as a result. Parents and children should expect to explore the possible factors that disrupted the parent-child relationship and work toward restoring trust and connection.

How long does attachment-based therapy last?
Certain forms of attachment-based therapy, especially those designed for parents and children, last for a set number of sessions; for example, Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up, a specific attachment-based approach for young children who have undergone early adversity, unfolds over 10 one-hour sessions. When attachment-based therapy is practiced on adults or combined with other modalities, it may not last a specific length of time; clients may wish to ask prospective therapists how long they expect treatment to take.

Does attachment-based therapy work?
Most of the research on attachment-based therapy focuses on children and adolescents. Some of this research shows a positive effect, especially for attachment-based family therapy (ABFT). Other studies, however, have found that attachment-based therapy is no more effective than other approaches to childhood depression, anxiety, or suicidality. Less is known about the therapy’s efficacy on adult populations.
