Are you grappling with themes of meaning and purpose? Feeling defined by your past, destined to repeat the same unfulfilling cycles for the unforeseeable future? Maybe it feels like the issue is your career, your relationship, or the city you’re living in. You may also be thinking that if you just lose some weight, get more sleep, make a little more money, or find some adventure, surely then you’d be happy. The truth is that you are not doomed to this kind of unending disconnection and dissatisfaction, nor are you destined to perpetuate the cycles of generations before you.

I have been working with adolescents, adults, and families for over a decade providing support around depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and transitions.
Welcome! You have already taken the first step to feeling better by reaching out for support. I know it isn't easy and I am here to help. I believe that you have what it takes to get through what life puts in front of you. Sometimes we just need help accessing the tools and inner strength, as well as the opportunity to learn new skills and different ways of approaching problems in a caring, supportive, non-judgemental environment.

Whether you’re struggling with a relationship, coping with loss or trauma, facing a big life change, or just finding it hard to manage day-to-day stress, I encourage you to reach out.
With the relentless demands of work, family, and social lives, it’s easy to feel worn down and alone in navigating it all. Therapy provides a safe and confidential space to help you think through the obstacles you’re facing, with an objective listener supporting and guiding you to a deeper understanding. I’d love the opportunity to hear your story and provide a fresh perspective on the challenges you face.

I strongly believe that the client-therapist relationship and our fit together are the most important foundational elements to therapy.
Are you feeling overwhelmed with life? Struggling to transition or adjust to life stressors? Unsure of how to make sense of your thoughts and feelings? Down in the dumps? I hear you. Life is tough! Sometimes it’s helpful to have someone to talk with about your struggles, and while that can often be a friend or family member, there are times when talking with a professional may be more beneficial.

Feeling overwhelmed is an understatement and discouragement is all too familiar. Life is hard! Your relationship is falling apart and you have no idea where to begin to keep it from crumbling to pieces. You just wish your spouse would change. You wish they would just accept you for who you are. If only they listened to you and loved you like you need them to. The hamster wheel keeps turning and the same conflicts keep surfacing. You've tried over and over again to change but you just end up right where you started. Will it ever get better?

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
