Not accepting new clients
Not currently accepting new clients. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, burn out, stress, or loneliness? Unfortunately, this is quite common for many people in today's world. Some feel as if they are drifting through life, without a deeper sense of meaning, or purpose. Sometimes, we numb the pain; other times, we just accept it and don't realize how to manage it. It is also common for people to struggle with having deeper relationships, whether with family, friends or romantic. If you would like to identify and explore the roots of these, or other issues, you have come to the right place.

Our thoughts and life experiences deeply influence how we see ourselves and the world around us. That’s why it’s so important to feel truly heard and supported from the very first therapy session. I understand that addressing mental health concerns can feel overwhelming or even scary, which is why I strive to create a calm, safe, and trusting space where healing can begin. Reaching out for help when you're feeling lost is one of the most courageous and empowering decisions you can make. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you—guiding you through life’s challenges, helping you reconnect with your inner strength.

You may look high-functioning on the outside, yet feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or weighed down by experiences that never had space to heal. I help adults—especially women—heal trauma, mother/father wounds, and self-worth injuries using EMDR and trauma-informed therapy so they can stop surviving and begin living with clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom. Many of my clients seek me out after traditional talk therapy hasn’t gone deep enough, or when they are ready for focused, intentional healing rather than surface-level coping.

Welcome to 2026. Its a new year. Is this the year for you to seek a new way to manage your self, your intimate relationships, or your relationships at work? Can I help you do it? I like to think of myself as your Sherpa: the person in Nepal who carries your baggage when you are climbing up a high mountain. Ever since I was a kid people found it confortable to talk to me: they tell me I'm a good non judgemental listener. From the information on this page, do you think that I can help you carry your baggage until you get back on the trail or are high enough on the mountain to see where you want to go?

Being a teen or young adult today isn’t easy. Between academic pressure, social stress, identity questions, and navigating independence, it’s a lot to manage — and you don’t have to do it alone. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or just not like themselves, and am experienced in working with adolescents across outpatient, hospital, and foster care settings. Whether you're struggling with your mental health, relationships, or major life transitions, therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of your experience, and move toward a more grounded, confident version of you.

I work with clients who are struggling with overcoming past trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship distress or work stress. Many times it can be easy to stuff feelings associated with any of these stressors, only to have these issues come back and be more intense. I like to assist clients with finding ways to process through their stressors, trauma, anxiety and depression, while learning healthy coping skills to manage stressors in the future so that you can feel more at peace and a sense of calm. With relationship distress I work with clients on effective communication and processing through emotions.

Rational Emotive Behavior (REBT) Therapists
What should I expect from rational emotive behavior therapy?
The therapist will work with the individual to recognize rigid thought patterns that sabotage goals and set them back. The objective is to identify, challenge and reframe negative thoughts and enable an individual to understand that they possess control over their emotions and their behavior. This therapy often emphasizes the use of reasoning and self-direction.

Is rational emotive behavior therapy effective?
Rational emotive behavior therapy is evidence-based and is highly effective. It helps a person reframe self-defeating or catastrophizing thoughts and gives them tools to approach a range of circumstances they may encounter post-therapy as well. REBT can bring a person lifelong change, with higher levels of satisfaction, less stress, as well as positive emotional and behavioral habits.

When do I know if I need treatment with rational emotive behavior therapy?
If an individual’s mind is filled with rigid, unreasonable thoughts that dwell in negativity, they may feel stuck. A rational emotive behavior therapist can help a person examine and change their thinking patterns as well as their behavior. This concise and concrete therapy can provide an individual with the coping skills needed for a healthier and more constructive life.

How long does rational emotive behavior therapy last?
REBT therapy treatment is short-term and focused in nature. It can last for a set number of sessions, ending within a few weeks or months. Like any type of therapy, however, sessions depend on the individual, as well as the severity of their condition or problem. The individual may wish to ask the therapist about typical progress and how long they expect treatment to take.
