I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, drawing from evidence-based modalities like DBT, CBT, IFS, REBT, and EMDR.
Do you feel trapped in the cycle of people-pleasing and low self-esteem? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you're somehow "falling behind"? Trying to be what you think everyone else wants, only to feel like it's never good enough?
If this resonates with you, you're probably exhausted. Exhausted from having to source your sense of value and self-worth from others when you wish you could create it for yourself.
There are plenty of roadblocks on the road to self-acceptance; the mirage of social media, family traditions/expectations, or beliefs we hold from past trauma, to name a few.

I draw from Internal Family Systems ( IFS), Narrative Therapy, DBT-informed skills, and art therapy to help you explore in ways that go beyond intellectual understanding.
Life can be incredibly difficult, and sometimes the hardest part is feeling like you have to carry it alone.
I believe healing happens in relationships. My goal is to create a space where you don't have to perform, have the right answer, or pretend you're okay when you're not.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with what matters most.
I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, and compassion to the therapy room. Together, we'll help you feel more like yourself.

With over 10 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with people navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, relational wounds, and struggles with identity, connection, and self-trust. Much of my work is with BIPOC and queer individuals, many of whom are children of immigrants, and who are carrying both personal and intergenerational experiences that shape how they move through the world.
I approach therapy with curiosity, care, and collaboration. We begin by taking the time to understand your full story, your history, relationships, cultural context, and the experiences that have shaped you.

You’ve found yourself here because you (or someone you care about) are struggling and you have an intense need to no longer feel consumed by emotional turmoil. While the mask you’ve perfected to conceal your pain has provided a sense of safety and security for some time, trying to keep it intact over and over again has become isolating, exhausting and burdensome. Regardless of what sparks the shift in your life to seek therapy, doing so is an act of bravery that deserves to be celebrated, and I have deep respect for all that you’ve experienced and the choices you've made along the way.

My approach goes beyond insight and self awareness- I blend somatic, relational and attachment based therapies with a focus on Internal Family Systems, EMDR and nervous system healing to rewire deeply ingrained emotional patterns that were created out of survival.
Many of my clients experience frequent anxiety throughout their day. This anxiety may manifest as overthinking, hypervigilance, constantly playing out worst case scenarios in your head or feeling unable to slow down and rest. In relationships, you notice hyper-independence, emotional disconnection or fears around intimacy and vulnerability. Maybe you are struggling with painful family dynamics that leave you feeling guilty and steamrolled after trying to set boundaries and communicate your needs. Deep down, you may carry a quiet sense of inadequacy, or the feeling that you don’t quite belong, no matter how hard you try.

Coping with turbulent emotions, a harsh inner critic, and feeling stuck? Or navigating (asian + immigrant) family and relationship issues that leave you doubting yourself, feeling hopelessly caught up in conflict and drama?
Or maybe you're highly anxious, overly enmeshed and too worried about what others think about you, and find it hard to experience a core sense of self. Your high sensitivity, empathy and emotional ups and downs leave you drained and over-functioning for others. You're highly functioning, but also depressed. And maybe no one else notices. Guilt, shame and obligation drive most of your actions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
