I am a clinician in both Connecticut and New York. I had extensive clinical experience working as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem, previously working in Therapeutic Foster Care and as a Psychotherapist. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Central Connecticut State University and earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph. I have worked in various professional settings through direct practice and in social advocacy. I have worked alongside state non-profits in child welfare, as well as school base counseling and outpatient clinics.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience providing treatment to children, families, and adults struggling with issues related to mental health and substance abuse. In my therapy practice I provide a safe and supportive environment for people to talk about their troubles and help them develop solutions that will work for their individual situation. I strongly believe that a therapist’s primary role is to work in partnership with their client, to empower their client to achieve the goals they have identified.

She provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your life experiences, goals, and potential. She believes that we all have the ability to grow as we develop a deeper understanding of ourselves.

My areas of specialty are psychological evaluations and therapy with children, adolescents and their parents. I have over 25 years experience which include pre-doctoral experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My post-doctoral experience include providing individual therapy for adult psychiatric patients in long term care facilities and more recently with the developmentally disabled population. I have also done individual and group therapy with sexually traumatized and at risk adolescent girls. In addition to training, one of the qualities of a good psychologist is his/her personality.
