I hold an MBA from The Sorbonne and an MSW from Columbia University. I worked in the business world before changing careers and becoming a psychotherapist. I therefore have a good understanding of the pressures of the business workplace, as well as what it takes to make a significant career change. Over the last 24 years, I have worked in Domestic Violence agencies, and with teenagers around relationship issues in particular, as well as with couples and individuals in my private practice.

This is why I find myself especially connected to the work of supporting people who feel disconnected from their bodies and relationships. Many people find themselves living primarily from the neck up: intellectualizing experiences rather than fully feeling them, sensing that something important is missing without quite being able to name it. Sometimes there's a history of trauma that made disconnection necessary, or cultural messages that prioritized achievement over embodiment.
