I work with individuals facing stress, anxiety, addiction, unresolved pain, or major life transitions, helping them find relief, balance, and a stronger sense of self.
My style is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I use evidence-based strategies while keeping our work grounded and relatable, so sessions feel supportive but also actionable. Whether we’re addressing past wounds, navigating life transitions, or developing healthier coping strategies, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard

As a retired school counselor with extensive background in dealing with substance abuse issues, I am best positioned to assist clients with difficulties related to social, academic or behavioral issues. I am particularly attuned to the ways in which parenting styles impact upon the functioning of children and to the most efficient ways of creating change to promote the likeliness of a person's or family's success and happiness. At times, these are most effectively addressed through an examination and fostering of an individual's goal-setting and motivation and how these may encumber his or her movement on the path to future satisfaction.

I practice integrative psychology with a spiritual focus, and coaching strategies.
My Model: Celebrating the special relationship between the client & facilitator, we move with the flow of energy: the client as the 'expert' on self, and the facilitator as the 'expert' on the strategies of psychological/spiritual change. DW Winnicott reminds us of the beauty and function of playing: involving fantasy & creativity.. We bring the unconscious to the conscious mind with the specific goal of moving toward desired changes, as we nurture the healing process. We'll focus on your habitual behavioral responses. If you don't like these, I'll help you change them. We'll focus on letting go of what doesn't serve you.

Many of the people I work with feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from themselves, their relationships, or the life they thought they’d be living.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients better understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthy coping skills. I believe healing begins with feeling safe and understood, and I strive to create a space where growth feels possible and supported.

What often begins as normal screen use or social media can progress into porn sites, cam sites, or OnlyFans and become a pattern that is difficult to control, even for men disciplined in every other area of life.
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. Since 2020, I have helped over 2,400 men and their partners move from secrecy and repeated porn use into measurable change, stronger self control, and repaired trust. My approach is structured, direct, and goal oriented, with a focus on resolving compulsive sexual behavior at its root.

The focus is on helping you reclaim a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling, rooted in self-trust, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
Are you constantly putting others first and feeling like there’s nothing left for you? You’re the one everyone relies on, but inside you’re exhausted. Burnout, anxiety, and overwhelm have become your norm; and somewhere along the way you lost touch with the version of yourself that felt whole. You’ve been stuck in cycles of people-pleasing and self-neglect for so long, it’s hard to imagine another way. If you’re ready to stop pouring from an empty cup and start choosing you, therapy can be a powerful next step.

I believe that everyone has a story worth being heard. I offer transparency and honesty, while also bringing my sense of humor, healing and compassion to the practice allowing for you to show up authentically, safe, being encouraged and certain that you can grow - that there is a brighter tomorrow to look to. I understand there are narratives that you may tell yourself, that don’t seem quite fitting for the book that you are writing. I am here to help you unearth and disrupt and rewrite the narratives with the purpose of feeling empowered, leading to self-love, self-awareness and so much more.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
