Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you are or where you’re headed can be incredibly isolating. I offer a compassionate, affirming space for teens and young adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and the impact of past experiences. I'm passionate about working with students and LGBTQ+ individuals who are experiencing anxiety, burnout, or are exhausted by life stressors. I have a strong background working with children and adolescents, and understand how early relationships and experiences shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. Together, we will explore these parts of yourself.

Welcome, I’m really glad you’re here. I know reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy. It can feel scary, messy, or just… overwhelming. I work with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families who are doing their best but sometimes feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, or tricky relationships and just want to feel a little more grounded, confident, and at peace. I create a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported as you start to untangle patterns and make real, lasting change — no judgment, just honest work together.

You’re not in crisis — but you’re not free. You overthink, stay vigilant, and hold everything together even when no one’s asking you to. Your anxiety isn’t loud. It’s controlled, contained, and constant: mental loops you can’t shut off, pressure to get it right, difficulty letting go, strain in your closest relationships. I work with high-functioning professionals and couples who are outwardly successful and inwardly exhausted — people who are skeptical of quick fixes and ready for something deeper. We start by slowing down enough to understand what’s really happening.

My lens in psychotherapy is informed by the principle of organicity; that every person has within them tremendous wisdom and the ability to heal. I view psychotherapy as a journey to assist the client in clearing the boundaries to their own unique healing path. I work with many different evidence based modalities including IFS, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which provide many different lenses and approaches to working with a variety of presenting problems. My primary focus is on Trauma, both upper case "T" and lower case "t" as well as addictions- with males from 12 to adulthood. Looking forward to crossing paths soon!

Many adults come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted from constantly holding everything together while quietly struggling with anxiety, stress, sadness, or feeling disconnected from themselves. My ideal clients are individuals navigating difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, divorce, burnout, chronic stress, past trauma, or ongoing change that has left them feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Often, they are caring, capable people who spend so much energy supporting others that they have little space left to care for themselves.

Helping thoughtful, analytical people break the cycle of relationship overthinking and commitment anxiety. Many of the people I work with find their minds stuck in constant analysis when it comes to dating and relationships. They may question whether a partner is “right,” search for certainty, or worry about making the wrong decision. I call this pattern the Relationship Overthinking Model, which explains how anxiety, doubt, and rumination reinforce each other and how people can move toward relationships that align with their values.

If you’re constantly overthinking, feeling stuck, replaying conversations, or emotionally exhausted in your relationships, you’re not alone. I work with people experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, and relationship stress, including those healing from narcissistic or emotionally unhealthy relationships. You may be people pleasing, second-guessing yourself, feeling emotionally drained, struggling with boundaries, or carrying the effects of childhood trauma. Together, we slow things down, notice patterns in your thoughts and body, and begin shifting them with self-compassion, mindfulness, and awareness.

Jewish Therapists
Why is it important for a therapist to be culturally sensitive?
Therapists and clients don’t need to share the same background to be able to work together, but a therapist whose training includes a focus on cultural competence may be better able to form a therapeutic bond with individuals from a range of backgrounds, as they will have experience tailoring their approach to each client—and will be prepared to acknowledge and consider the effects of cultural forces, such as discrimination, that may contribute to that client’s concerns. With a professional who has such training, a client should feel comfortable discussing sensitive issues without feeling that they need to self-censor.

How can I recognize an effective Jewish therapist?
As with members of any religious or ethnic group, just because two people happen to be Jewish does not guarantee that they will share the same values, knowledge, or experiences. A Jewish client seeking a therapist who shares their cultural identity, or for whom it’s important that a therapist share their religious beliefs, may want to discuss a professional’s Jewish background with them before beginning therapy. For someone who seeks justification for major life changes in their religious tradition, or in biblical writings, finding a therapist who is comfortable framing guidance in that context may be especially valuable.

Would a Jewish therapist have unique training?
No, but they should have the same training and certification as any other mental health professional, as well as experience with a range of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or mindfulness-based therapy. A therapist with this type of experience should be able to help any client feel comfortable and safe, which is essential for a therapeutic alliance. Once this is established, a potential client may want to find out more about the therapist’s Jewish background.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience with Jewish clients?
A client can directly ask a therapist if they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and if so, whether these individuals sought counseling for faith-related issues or marital or familial issues in which their Jewish background was a factor. A client may also wish to ask a potential therapist whether they incorporate Jewish teachings and values into their own professional work.

Who is included in Psychology Today’s directory of Jewish therapists?
The directory of Jewish therapists includes professionals who have opted to share their cultural background on their profiles. However, not all therapists choose to disclose their background, and they may not appear in search results for this reason. The directory also shows therapists who indicate that they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and/or communities.
