WHY THERAPY? Finding a therapist or counselor can be an anxiety-provoking pursuit. In my experience, people seek treatment for a wide variety of reasons, such as depression, anxiety/stress, relationship problems, parenting difficulties, low self-esteem, and so on. Seeking therapy is an act of maturity and strength! It says that you recognize that you are unhappy or dissatisfied with some aspect of your life and that you ultimately want to function and feel better.

In the 20 years that I've practiced psychotherapy I've come to appreciate the uniqueness and complexities that make us who we are. When problems arise and it is decided to enter therapy, it becomes something of a "Magical Mystery Tour" into our inner world, hopefully to learn more about ourselves.

Sometimes life has us so overwhelmed that words evade us. We can be drenched in emotion, or we can be numb to it all. Our struggles manifest uniquely according to the biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual elements in our lives. We might feel lost and alone, but it is important to remember that we are not. I wish to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you, in which we can explore together. We may attempt to connect words with feelings, or we may let silence hold its power; the conscious and the unconscious are both invited. Through our relationship we may discover new pathways of resilience.

We meet new versions of ourselves at every stage of life. Each relationship, success, and setback shapes our internal experience. These shifts can be rapid and disorienting. Therapy is a space to slow down, get curious, find meaning, and reconnect with what feels steady and authentic. My approach is collaborative and grounded in real life. I specialize in working with people in high-demand, fast-evolving fields who feel the psychological toll of constant acceleration. Rapid change and the rise of AI can quietly erode one’s sense of stability, competence, and identity.
