I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive specialized training and over 23 years of experience in crisis management and teaching practical coping and interpersonal skills. I provide a solution-focused, flexible and time-limited approach to problem solving in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and private setting.

I am a therapist / clinical social worker with over twenty years I enjoy working with various populations at developmental stages . My focus is on helping clients identify goals and develop strategies and coping skills that will help them overall . We all have strengths and areas that we can improve . My approach is solution based with symptom relief as a primary focus , my style is collaborative and interactive . These settings include private practice, community mental health, school-based special education, home-based early intervention, and advocacy.

My clinical areas of specialization include: the treatment of neuro-psychological and developmental disorders, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, and the management of emotional and behavioral dysregulation in children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize a range of strategies and techniques to address these problems including: structured family therapy, strategic therapy, interpersonal therapy, and cognitive behavior interventions. A large portion of my practice is devoted to helping families and couples resolve conflicts and relate in a more meaningful and positive manner. It is my belief that healthy family relationships are the basis of mental health and well being.

Mrs. Garcia-Davranova works with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds throughout the life span, including children, pre-teens, adolescents and young adults. She works with people struggling with a variety of presenting concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, familial conflict, parenting, attachment and separation, anxiety and depression, school and behavioral challenges, gender and identity exploration as well as major life transitions. She has over ten years of experience as an early childhood educator and holds certification in crisis intervention counseling.
