I work with women and men struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, offering a collaborative, nurturing approach to therapy. I have extensive experience working with Maternal Health, Fertility & Perinatal Loss, Family Addictions, Complex Grief, and Parenting issues.

I love to form a partnership with female clients in a thought provoking, non-judgmental way that inspires them to recognize, heal from, and breakthrough what is holding them back from a happier, less stressful life. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I'm a trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist; but I use a variety of approaches depending on my client's needs. I have been in private practice for 9 years. Prior to private practice I worked at Family Service League in Bayshore with all populations. I also worked at Stony Brook University Hospital on the Child Psychiatry Unit working with children from 4-13 years old. I currently work at Stony Brook University and had previously worked at The Juilliard School.

I am extremely passionate about working with teens and young adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, difficult life change. I work with clients to help guide them in figuring out their personal life goals and how to reach them, while navigating all of life’s challenges thrown at them, that may seem like roadblocks.
