I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, PTSD, grief/loss, betrayal, and women's issues.
I believe that the foundation of the therapeutic relationship begins with the connection between myself and you. Trust and safety must be present in order for you to express your concerns and to achieve your goals. It is important to me that you feel accepted while sharing the unexpected challenges of life. You are not alone, you don't have to stay stuck, and you can be a better version of yourself once those burdens have been lifted.

Starting therapy is hard—there’s no easy way around it. Admitting you need support, opening up to a stranger, or even finding the right words to describe what you're going through can feel overwhelming. But acknowledging that struggle is the first, brave step toward healing. Depression and anxiety can feel suffocating, or you can feel unseen? I work to help my client's meet their treatment goals tailored to fit their unique issues whether they are struggling with complex trauma, identity issues to Obsessive Compulsive, I would love to a part of your positive change.

WHATEVER YOU DO, CALL ME! I have over 18 years of experience as a therapist, and I attended one of the best graduate programs in the United States (at USC) on an academic assistantship and graduated in the top 10% of my class. I am very serious about what I do! I also did additional coursework for a Nevada license at UNLV. While I see both men and women in my practice, if you are a man, you will be happy to know that men's issues are one of my specialties. And if you have a PORN ADDICTION, by all means give me a call. I have a toolbox full of interventions to address this issue in the shortest time possible.

I approach therapy with the belief that my clients are the experts on their own lives. I only know what you choose to share, and I’m not here to tell you who you are or how you should live. Instead, I see myself as a compassionate, skilled companion walking alongside you as you move toward the kind of wellness and wholeness that feel true to you.

While working with symptomology like autism and BPD, my specialties are focused on managing complex emotions stemming from sexual trauma ( assault and abuse), cultivating sexual satisfaction through kink and life style exploration, dealing with the social stress of sex work, and affirmative LGBTQ+ care.
I enjoy working with clients who are looking to explore how sexuality, gender, intimacy, past trauma, and their neurodivergencies impact our perspective and self-image. This allows us to work collaboratively while building a trusting, compassionate, and sustainable therapeutic relationship. We create space to explore a deeper understanding around the miscommunications that are an inherent part of life.

I take sexual abuse at your pace and with you in control.
You’ve read the books, tried to communicate better, maybe even learned the “right” words to use—but somehow, it still feels like you’re speaking different languages. You crave closeness, yet find yourself shutting down or walking on eggshells. Maybe you’re neurodivergent, trauma-aware, or simply deeply sensitive—and tired of being told you’re “too much.” The truth is, you’re not broken; you’re ready for a relationship and life that feel more authentic, grounded, and connected. I help individuals and couples unlearn old patterns, heal attachment wounds, and finally feel understood. On the other side of the discomfort is freedom!

How do therapists treat sexual abuse?

A good therapist will be nonjudgmental and possibly demonstrate active listening, repeating back what the client says to show that they have understood. These skills allow people to feel comfortable discussing their traumatic experiences openly. Some important treatment goals are to restore a sense of safety and to rebuild confidence. In addition to working one-on-one with the patient, a therapist might bring in supportive family members to assist the client.

Do you have to talk extensively about sexual abuse in therapy?

Survivors frequently find it difficult to describe what happened to them out loud. They can even still be in a state of denial if the sexual abuse occurred recently. It is important for survivors to acknowledge that what happened isn’t their fault and to challenge and reappraise any unhealthy feelings or thoughts as they arise. Art therapy and play therapy are useful non-verbal means of communication for some survivors.

How long does treatment for sexual abuse take?

Recovery from sexual abuse can be a long and difficult process. Some survivors are able to move on naturally on their own, given time, while others require the guidance of a trained therapist. Therapy needs vary and can range from a few sessions to months or even years. Healing from sexual abuse takes time, and everyone’s journey will look a little different.

Can trauma symptoms caused by sexual abuse come back after treatment?

As occurs in many cases of trauma, survivors of sexual abuse may experience PTSD-like symptoms long after the abuse has ceased or after an initial round of treatment has occurred. In such a case, there is evidence that prolonged exposure therapy is a useful treatment for survivors, and may be more efficacious than supportive counseling alone. While triggers may continue to cause distress, the idea is that, with time and repeated exposure, their power will fade, allowing survivors to move on with their lives.
