FREE 15 minute phone consultation. If you're struggling with stressful relationships, a dysfunctional past, anxiety, sadness, impossible life circumstances, or unhealthy coping, I would be honored to work with you. Seeing a psychologist for help with your personal struggles is a courageous step, especially if you've never seen a therapist before. Therapy can be hard work. It can mean facing yourself and your emotions in a very real way, but it can also mean growing in ways you didn't think possible before. In my practice YOU are the focus, not your problem.

My overall goal in therapy is to help individuals to feel empowered in their unique identities while they move toward a fulfilling life based on their personal values. Among my own top values are connection, flexibility, adventure, integrity, and openness. I believe these values are what initially drew me to this work and I endeavor to incorporate them into everything that I do. For this reason, I try to be fully myself in therapy and invite my clients to do the same as we collaborate in challenging their eating disorders and other mental health struggles.

Does your child's ADHD make school feel like a daily war, or their anxiety turn ordinary situations into something they can't get through? Is your teen shutting down, avoiding things, or showing signs of autism that haven't been named yet and you're not sure where to turn? Children carry more than most people recognize, and finding the right person to work with them matters. I work with kids ages 4 through 19 in Nevada — children who struggle to focus, regulate, or feel okay in their own skin. When they get the right support, the shift shows up in their grades, their friendships, and what happens at home.

I'm glad you are here. I know taking the first step can be scary. It takes a lot of courage to realize the tools you used to "survive" in your past are no longer helping you thrive in the present. Life is a series of transitions and challenges. We develop strategies in our early years as survival mechanisms, however those same practices whether formed in response to childhood trauma, family expectations or high pressured environments start to feel ineffective rather than productive. If you feel the way you have handled things in the past aren't working anymore, you are not failing, you are evolving. I am here, tell me your story.

Do you struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, or guilt that seems to surface whenever you try to put yourself first? Many people learn early on to cope by striving, pleasing, or holding themselves to impossible standards. I help clients learn to tolerate anxiety without letting it run their lives, let go of perfectionism, and respond to guilt with compassion instead of self-criticism. Together, we work to heal inner childhood wounds, build a stronger sense of self-worth, and live a more grounded and authentic life.

I work with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, or relationship patterns that leave them questioning themselves. Many are used to holding it all together and putting others first, but inside carry a quiet sense of not being good enough. This may have been shaped by past experiences that left them feeling unworthy, unseen, or disconnected from themselves. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, rebuild a sense of worth from within, find and trust your voice, set boundaries without guilt, and make decisions that feel aligned with who you truly are—so your life and relationships feel more balanced.

My approach to therapy is based on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). A core idea in ACT is that trying too hard to get rid of or control our emotions tends to backfire. Instead of trying to get rid of unwanted thoughts and feelings (e.g., anxiety & depression), I will help you learn to react differently to them so that you can keep your focus on living a meaningful and fulfilling life based on what’s important to you. We will work together to set meaningful goals to address your concerns–whether they relate to life transitions, depression, anxiety, body image, grief/loss, job or academic stress, or gender & sexuality.

Using approaches like autism-affirming ERP and EMDR, I blend deep emotional work with practical tools so you can reduce overwhelm, build self-trust, and create a life that actually works for your brain.
I work best with neurodivergent women—especially those who identify as autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD—who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or like they’ve spent a lifetime pretending to be someone they are not. Many of my clients are also unpacking religious trauma and are ready to reconnect with their authentic selves. As an AuDHD, ex-Mormon woman myself, I help clients better understand the way their neurodivergent brain works, build sustainable coping strategies, and create lives that actually fit them—without shame, perfectionism, or people-pleasing running the show.

Therapy should be a first step to gaining the tools to handle stressors that occur in your life. My ideal client is someone seeking clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to themselves through therapy. They may feel disconnected, “stuck” in trauma, or unsure how to advocate for their needs. This client wants stability and to feel more confident in their sense of direction. They hope to build healthy relationships, gain tools to manage feelings of overwhelm, and break out of emotional ruts. Their goals include healing past wounds and gaining self-compassion so they can move through life with more confidence, ease, and purpose.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
