There are times when everyone feels like their struggles are too big for them to handle alone. When people feel unheard, unmotivated, overwhelmed, discarded, or misunderstood, it can be difficult to ask for help. Dr. Sandra Gray owns and operates Innovation Behavioral Health Solutions, LLC. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, as well as dual masters in mental health counseling and in psychology. Her dissertation research, training, and experience has focused on racial and ethnic differences in the experience of trauma, specifically sexual abuse. As a bilingual, first-generation Mexican-American individual, much of her work has involved working with Spanish-speaking populations and other minority groups. Dr. Gray's pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training focused on psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, respectively.

My passion is activating individuals and families by influencing development of knowledge, skills, and confidence. As a native of Las Vegas, I love giving back to the community by offering support and well being to those in need. I have experience working with people from a variety of different cultures and walks of life including four years of experience working with members of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Tohono O”dham Tribe, and Hopi Tribe. I'm experienced in treating Trauma, PTSD, Adolescent Issues, Life Transitions, and Women's Issues.

Prior to working as a therapist, I was a special education teacher. Working as a teacher taught me the importance of a trusting relationship. I love working as a therapist and my favorite part is the unique relationship I build with each client. It is through this trusting, judgement-free relationship that clients can feel safe to self-examine. I work side by side with clients to explore the root causes of unhelpful behaviors and identify a better way of relating to oneself and others.

That is how my husband and I stumbled into our intercultural marriage some 37 years ago..... and stumble we definitely did. It is the differences that are so attractive that can become so problematic as time goes on. We had no common language between us and knew no one who believed our marriage stood a chance of survival. The children quickly came and reality hit hard! 20 yrs in MH and nothing in the field has felt so strenuous, exhilarating and worthwhile as couples therapy.
