We offer in person and online sessions for coping skills, depression, anxiety, emotional distress and trauma using: EMDR, Flash and DBT. We also specialize in Gottman Method Couples Counseling, DBT and EMDR Trauma therapy. EMDR is highly effective in helping children, teens & adults resolve past trauma and abuse (see emdr.org for more info). Gottman Method is the gold standard for couples who struggle with relationship issues, infidelity and conflict. We also specialize in helping destructive relationships (emotional, physical, spiritual, etc). We help people of all ages, couples and families.

Everyone needs an advocate, a guide, an ally, and a catalyst toward healing and wholeness, whether for themselves or their relationships. As a therapist I have helped families, couples and individuals find connection and repair within their relationships and self-identity.

The truth is that all of us go through tough times and there are so many of us who could really benefit from counseling. The LMWC is home to five licensed state interns who have over five years of experience in Nevada. Most are EMDR trained and are skilled in many areas. We are able to offer counseling at a sliding scale if you need financial assistance.

As a former collegiate athlete, I love working with younger and older adults around life transitions, identity, and anxiety. I also enjoy working with couples around infidelity and communication, and with adult children and their parents. I work well with clients who are interested in learning why they think and act the way that they do, and are interested in learning how to have more agency in their lives. I believe that our relationships influence how people view, conceptualize, and behave in the world, and that having insight into how our relationships affect us can lead to our own behavior change.
