As a therapist, my role is to be a caring guide throughout your healing journey. We will work on personalized goals, identify strengths, develop coping skills, and create practical self care practices. Humor, play, art, music, meditation, mindfulness, and evidenced based methods are all at the center of my practice. Additionally, I strive to create a gentle, honest, and kind therapeutic relationship to support you on your pathway of health and happiness.
My practice focuses primarily on the use of the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization&Reprocessing) framework. Additionally, CBT, ARC,ACT, DBT, CAMS and mindfulness, sensory, somatic, and art modalities also inform my practice. Trained Yoga Nidra meditation guide, love herbalism, traveling, and the outdoors!
Extensive experience supporting youth (12-18), college students, and adults. Specialized training using EMDR to treat trauma, anxiety, and related experiences (currently applying for EMDRIA certification). BCBS, CBA Blue, Medicaid, MVP or Self Pay accepted.
