I have experience in non-profit, and private practice settings, working with adolescents, adults and families, employing elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Person Centered, Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Therapies.
At times sessions will be educational and goal driven, or sometimes they will just be organic. I always allow the client to sit in the driver's seat during sessions, while I sit in the passenger's seat, helping to empower and validate, while staying focused on solutions.
