As a LMFT I have a passion for fostering healthy relationships and nurturing personal growth within individuals and families. With a strong foundation in systems theory and being EMDR certified, I have cultivated a unique clinical style that integrates various theoretical frameworks to meet the diverse needs of clients. Drawing from models such as Structural Family Therapy and Bowenian Family Therapy, I focus on understanding family roles, communication patterns, and intergenerational influences.
I have advanced training in the treatment of trauma, couples and family therapy. I am certified in EMDR therapy and incorporate IFS working with parts. By blending a systemic approach with evidence-based practices, I foster an atmosphere of growth, understanding, and healing, guiding clients toward healthier relationships and brighter futures.
I am multicultural. I am Jamaican decent as well as I am semi fluent in Spanish. I have excellent engagement skills making clients feel comfortable, and safe in which I then work collaborative with clients to tailor treatment specifically to their needs.
