I am a 2SLGBTQ+ affirming therapist and work closely with BIPOC. My goal is to provide a safe, direct, and compassionate environment that acknowledges the dignity and worth that is inherent in us all. My hope is that by partnering together we may move towards healing past wounds and work towards inner wellbeing even in the face of adversity. I believe the past is present, which is why I will invite you to target the root of the paint point. I am an egalitarian so I value working collaboratively with clients and am committed to meeting my clients exactly where they are on their journey.
I am trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy, psychedelic preparation, and integration. I am also trained in attachment based EMDR, and somatic psychotherapy, which can help clients attain a greater sense of mind and body congruence. The nervous system doesn't use words, so that means you simply can't "talk" your way out of certain emotions.
Trauma and stress can manifest in different ways depending on the individual. Harmful behaviors/beliefs are often developed as a method of coping with something too painful or overwhelming. You don't need to hurt alone. Connection is medicine. We can't undo the past, but we can work towards healing, growth, and alignment to your most authentic self.
