Life is full of unexpected twists and disappointments and there are times when we can feel overwhelmed. Our emotions are not good or bad, they offer signals of what may be wrong or need attention. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, burnout, depression and relationship issues. I am passionate about working with couples to identify unhealthy patterns, areas where they are stuck and develop internal and external boundaries. Often it is in a relationship with others where we are harmed, but it is also in relationship with God and others where we can find healing.
My desire is to come alongside you to help uncover truths; to help you understand and make meaning of your story, how you were shaped and informed by your family of origin, attachment style, examine your relationships, how the past may continue to affect the present, and set a path toward healing and discovery of your true self.
I have been married for over 24 years, and we have two teenage children. As an Asian American, a military spouse, and a mother of two adopted children I am familiar with cultural complexities, uncertainty, significant transitions, and many unique challenges.
