Hi, I’m Jenessa. I'm a therapist, former school counselor and teacher. My passion is supporting children and families to strengthen their relationship and experience self-growth. I know that making sense of our life stories can be difficult. You and your child deserve a guide to be with when things are hard. I offer child, teen, and family therapy, as well as parent coaching. I specialize in issues related to difficult behavior, school stress, anxiety/depression, neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism/dyslexia), developmental trauma and relational hardships (family conflict, divorce, foster care).
You are the most important influence in your child’s life. When a child or teen is struggling the whole family can be impacted. I work collaboratively with parents to effect positive change for your child and family unit. This process can look different depending on the needs of your child and family.
For parents, I can help you better understand and re-connect with your child, including tailored ways to support them. For children and teens, I offer a safe space to process, learn, heal and develop resilience. We all get stuck or lose our way.
