About
When you or your child/teen is struggling, you want strategies to combat challenges NOW. At North Shore Family Services, we empower kids, teens, and adults to learn tools, so they can succeed independently. Our goal is for children, teens, adults, parents, and couples to learn skills to be successful with school, peers, work, and family- long after therapy ends. We assist with IEP and 504 plans to help our children/teen clients succeed where they spend most of their day- out of their parents' sight. Parents are our partners in helping kids and teens learn life skills.
Often kids and teens do not realize how their actions affect others' thoughts, feelings, and reactions toward them. Using engaging, proven techniques, we provide tools to create better communication and relationship skills throughout life. We work with all ages that are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, behavioral, and social issues.
We don't want families burdened with insurance paperwork. We provide you with an insurance verification form and submit all claims for reimbursement on your behalf. We are in-network with many BCBS PPO plans and a number of BCBS HMO sites. Our Northbrook, Skokie, Libertyville, and Park Ridge offices are minutes from 294, 94, and Metra.
