Following a Master’s program in Human Rights at Columbia University, I obtained an M.A in Marriage & Family Therapy believing the optimal way to address the existential challenges particular to our current social landscape hinges on our ability to address how we internalize broader social discourse at the local level of individual experience. I primarily work with individuals who identify as Polyamorous/Non-monogamous, Kinky/Fetishistic, Queer/Trans, Anti-capitalist, as well as “others” who deviate from conventional cultural scripts.

I have a particular interest in those whose preferred expressions of intimacy and embodiment have been deemed “problematic” in normative contexts. I do not equate “healthy” with “normal”. Nor am I prescriptive about how my clients ought to experience their lives and relationships

I avoid overdetermined optimism, mindful that life lived along the fringes of normativity can be punishing and unrelenting in its disciplinary demands. Therapy shouldn’t function as a space of diagnostic surveillance. What does matter to me however is challenging the architectures of “should” and exploring how you might inhabit your life with greater agency.

RESUMING JANUARY 24, 2023! This group explores the challenges that arise when intimacy is positioned against normativity in a safe, supportive environment. Alternatives to more traditional ways of romantic coupling sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed and confused. Moving our discussion away from the stigma associated with non-monogamy, we aim to engage each other in an intimate and relational space whereby a diverse community of persons practicing non-monogamy provide mutual support and understanding. *Limited to 15 persons per session. *Individuals are $50/session; persons who attend with one or more partner/s are $40/session.
