At The Cognitive Refinery we do things a little differently. We are not your typical therapists and typical therapy is not our goal. Our aim is to provide direct and effective therapy to help you create the change you need in your life. I specialize working with clients that struggle with trauma and PTSD. I utilize Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have several hours of training and experience working with survivors of trauma. I provide couples therapy using Gottman Method. My goal is to help clients go from surviving to thriving.

I offer late afternoon and evening appointments. Digital correspondence, including appointment reminders. Located in downtown Bowling Green with plenty of accessible parking. www.thecognitiverefinery.com. I provide supervision for KY LPCA licenses. Potential supervisee must have graduated from WKU Masters Counseling Program.

Starting therapy is a courageous and vulnerable process. Processing trauma can be difficult but the long term benefits to healing are worth the journey. My style of therapy uses a collaborative model where therapist and client work together as equals. I hope to make the therapeutic process a positive experience for you.
