I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Norman Severe and I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the local San Diego community for over 20 years. For the past 23 years, I have devoted my private practice to serving the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families in need of therapeutic and psychological support. I believe everyone can achieve great things in their lives by recognizing their strengths, working through struggles, and overcoming obstacles by persevering and never giving up.
I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and I utilize a combination of techniques and treatment strategies to help patients work from within a Strengths-Based Cognitive Behavioral Modality, to make gains in treatment and their overall lives.
