Thank you for your interest. I am a retired (2001) combat veteran with twenty years of military service. My credentials/licenses are in Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, and Chemical Dependency. My therapeutic approach is based on cognitive behavior research which has found a strong correlation between thoughts and behaviors.
Currently working full time as a Marriage and Family Therapist. A good amount of my experience is combined with active duty Service Members and their families. I have worked in clinical settings with patients struggling with co-existing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance misuse.
I have been married to my wife for 42 years (+) 20 were during active duty. I have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I am pro-marriage and pro-family. While in some cases separation and divorce is necessary, I believe in working it out, giving it 200%. In many cases we are willing to risk our lives for country and flag, our family deserves nothing less.
