As a senior clinical psychologist at Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I provide positive and strength-based CBT treatment that empowers clients from all backgrounds to overcome their challenges, increase their well-being, achieve their goals, and live life in line with their values. I enjoy helping my clients discover their aspirations and values, and learning how their cultures, backgrounds, and experiences can be mined for strengths. This meaningful work takes places within the context of a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship.
My clients and I often identify thought patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that can cause emotional distress or prevent them from achieving their goals and aspirations. We work together to select and apply the most effective strategies to make lasting changes in these unhelpful patterns. The tools I give my clients serve them for the rest of their lives.
