I believe that your decision to seek therapy is a sign of strength, courage, and respect for your personal and relationship well-being. Congratulations on taking the first, and often, hardest step. Identifying a therapist with whom you are comfortable is also a critical step toward facilitating the changes that you desire. I have a collaborative and active style in therapy. I am sensitive to the diverse expressions of sexuality, gender, and lifestyles that my clients may bring. I specialize in sexual and relationship concerns, problematic sexual behaviors, kink/fetish, gender identity, and sexual identity.
I am licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists; Certified as a Sex Therapist by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT); level 2 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy; and a Gottman 7 Principles Program Educator.
My overall approach is to understand, support, motivate, and reduce shame. I suggest things that you can work on between appointments to actively move you toward completing your goals. My practice also specializes in L-3 Exams for police candidates and the assessment for Personal Protection Officers (PSP-13).

"7 Principles for Making Marriage Work"
In this workshop, you will learn new strategies to make your marriage or committed relationship work through relationship enhancing exercises. "7 Principles" is based on decades of research on couples by Dr. John Gottman. You will leave with actual tools that you can continue to use to keep your relationship growing and thriving. This workshop is available by appointment only and can be completed over a 2-day weekend or for 1 hour a week for 11 weeks.
