You desire more joy, peace, less stress, relief from depression or anxiety, freedom from trauma, healthier relationships. Perhaps you want to help your child feel connected and happy. For over 20 years I have successfully collaborated with adults and children to help them stabilize, gain healthy perspectives, better self-regulate in daily living, and discover solutions in their lives. For children, I have extensive training in play therapy and am an APT Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. When working with adults, I offer talk therapy via the modalities of EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices.
I provide Child-Centered Play Therapy for children ages 3.5-11. CCPT is a nondirective, developmentally appropriate, evidence-based best-practice which utilizes a child's language of play to help them share their worlds via the therapeutic relationship. Through CCPT, children are then able to gain perspective and better self-regulate in their daily living.
