Hi, I'm Norina Asante-Kellam, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holistically supports children, adolescents, and families. I integrate mindfulness, evidence-based practices, and transpersonal psychology to honor the spiritual, cultural, social, and emotional elements that make up the full spectrum of what it means to be a human (being). I work with individuals ages 5-18, helping them navigate various life challenges, and offering guidance and support that fosters personal growth, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves.
My client focus is primarily on children, adolescents, and families, ranging in age from 5 to 18. I work with clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, emotional regulation difficulties, and family or social dynamics.
I was in elementary school, navigating the challenges of being a first-generation Ghanaian-American and trying to fit into American life. I often felt lost, as though no one truly understood my experiences. In 5th grade, I started seeing my school psychologist during lunch.
