I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, EMDR Practitioner, and Reiki Master/Teacher. I specialize in Trauma-Focused work with adults to manage a wide range of issues. My approach is Person-Centered and Trauma Focused through a compassionate lens, with an emphasis on client's strengths. I'm trained in Advanced EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis including advanced training in Age Regression/Progression, and Reiki Level III. I utilize complementary therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I'm interested in working with people struggling with a variety of issues. Particular areas of interest include working with members of the LGBTQIA community, those struggling with mood disorders, hearing loss, and educators suffering from the education systems toxic, dysfunctional culture of unrealistic expectations.
I'm honored to do this work and deeply passionate about working with all people. I work with clients to identify their strengths and utilize those strengths and inner resources to create the changes they desire in their lives. Helping clients to identify and increase access to their inner resources is a primary goal in my work.
