I am an LICSW who provides mental health treatment to adults in a variety of treatment settings. My areas of specialty include treating anxiety, depression, struggles with pregnancy and postpartum, overwhelming stress, difficulty navigating life transitions, challenges post military service, and unhelpful responses to trauma. Building a genuine therapeutic relationship is one of the key pieces to successful treatment, so I strive to create a non-judgmental environment built on trust and accountability with each of my clients.
The treatment approaches I most often use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). Though I pull from several therapeutic models, I have been formally trained and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
