Life is hard sometimes (a lot of the time), and when it is, it's okay to ask for help. I work with adolescents and adults who are struggling with their mental health, trying to figure out who they are, or navigating difficult life transitions. Sometimes you need someone nonjudgemental to talk to who will offer insight and hold what you have to say in confidence. You deserve a safe and accepting space to address your needs and find solutions, which can entail learning new coping skills, or learning to live with and adapt to a situation.
I believe that you have the ability within you to reach your full potential, but sometimes people need a helping hand along the way. I help people with a variety of mental health concerns, from addictions, to mood disorders, to trauma, and have received training in CBT and EMDR, which I incorporate into my person-centered, evidence based approach.
I want to help you meet goals that are important to you, even if you haven't exactly figured out what they are yet. My approach is warm and non-directive, and I bring my lived experience as a trans woman, veteran, and person in long term recovery to the table.
