I know how frustrating it can be to feel misunderstood by a well intentioned therapist. It feels disheartening to be offered strategies that may not work for your neurodivergent brain, only to feel insufficient when those approaches fall short, leaving you feeling defeated. I get it. I've been there as an ADHDer and as a mom of 3. Sometimes our toughest experiences lead us to a new path for ourselves and even provide a light for others. That’s my story. Supporting neurodiverse individuals is not just my profession—it’s my passion. I aspire to create a space where you feel supported, understood, equipped and empowered to thrive.
I created Neurodiverse Institute (NDI) to offer genuine connection through neuroaffirming counseling, coaching, and personalized support, empowering children, teens, and adults to navigate life’s challenges and celebrate their unique strengths. I stay at the forefront of research and treatment modalities to provide effective care for ADHD, Autism, and PDA.
Often, we know what needs to change, and even how to do it. We are smart people! If intelligence alone could bring us wellness, we would have done it already. Great therapy can be awesome!
