A client describes to me that she is having panic attacks, has trouble sleeping, and eating, and she's had some problems in her relationships. We begin the session with the pain, the problem, and what she wants from therapy. I ask what he/she's done to decrease the panic attacks, and if need be I will discuss some suggestions to reduce the attacks and practice them in session helping my client begin to have success.
My specialty is anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. I frequently see progress with symptom reduction and quality of life. We discuss practical tools that confront their most pressing problem. We discuss the problem of negative thoughts and how to decrease it; and I often see a reduction in panic attacks and increased resiliency,
