I believe every person has the innate desire and capability to reach their personal goals given the right tools and environment. I am passionate about making the world a safer place for all people. I am a member of/advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. I support people dealing with self-acceptance, questions about gender and sexuality, life transitions, and more.

As a therapist, my top priorities are making sure that clients feel safe and advocated for during sessions, and that we take a collaborative approach towards treatment goals. I practice with an abolitionist and integrative approach, depending on the needs of the client. I have four main areas of focus in my counseling practice: Trauma/Complex-PTSD, Deconstruction/Liberation, Neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ issues.

Society can be overflowing with expectations, guilt, and shame…but it doesn’t have to. You deserve a non-judgmental space to explore the parts of you that feel contradictory, taboo, or “sinful.” You want to feel deeply connected to who you are and in your relationships. My goal is to take the path with you and help you discover your own resiliency in the midst of trauma, mental illness, neurodivergence, and even life transitions. Each and every one of us has the ability to overcome hardships, sometimes you just need help along the way. I am a practitioner that aligns with person-centered therapy, LGBTQ affirmation therapy, child-centered play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and I also specialize in treating personality disorders.

So, here's the thing. I know if you're looking for a therapist, you've probably read a million of these profiles, which is exhausting and stressful, so I'll try to be concise. I consider myself a kind of offbeat therapist. I relish in embracing the weird and alternative, I swear in session (if you're cool with it), and I have a habit of using esoteric metaphors.

When people are looking for a therapist, it’s usually because they’re hurting or their relationships are struggling. I understand your pain. I’ve been there! And because I’ve been there… I can show you the way out. I’ll be your guide to building your way to a healthy, happy life, and strong relationships. I am not a passive, “sounding board” kind of therapist. We'll do active work in session, I'll recommend reading material, give you homework assignments. I work with individuals and relationships. I'm the author of "Cultivating Connection: A practical guide for personal and relationship growth in ethical non-monogamy."
