We are often impacted by our past experiences in both known unknown ways, and these experiences can dictate how we form relationships with ourselves and others. Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, dissociation, difficultly forming lasting relationships, eatings struggles - just to name a few - are signals that something else, something deeper, needs to be addressed. My goal is to collaborate on creating a secure therapeutic relationship where we can be curious about your present and past, and create longer lasting change and symptom relief.

As a therapist I believe that we all have the capacity for resiliency given the right support. I often use a person centered, strengths based approach, mindfulness and trauma focused techniques, though my approach varies according to need.

My clients are dreaming of a better world but feel stuck in a world that is causing them great pain. They are passionate about change, both for themself and for the world around them, but might not know where or how to start. I feel that every client, along with their family or loved ones, processes and copes with adversity, trauma, and mental health issues differently. When I began seeing a therapist, I realized just how much I needed an outlet to process hardships in my life and to feel genuinely heard, and this is exactly what I want to provide to clients who come to see me. As I have advanced in my own self-discovery and identity exploration, I have become interested in helping others in the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent (specifically Autism & ADHD), and disability communities on their own journeys. As a black, gender non-binary Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I have a personal stake and insight into the work I do. My clinical practice aims to empower and heal individuals, families & communities through therapy, consulting, case management, training, & community outreach.

I'm passionate about working with folks who share any of my identities and are seeking a therapist with similar lived experience. My main areas of interest include gender identity, disability/illness, autism, sexuality and relationships (including non-monogamy, kink, and sex work), and supporting other therapists and academics/scholars. I'm invested in serving other people living with Pentad Super Syndrome, as well. Those who are drawn to working with me often identify as radicals, misfits, outsiders, activists, and cycle breakers.
