This is your journey, and as your therapist, I can be a helpful guide along the way. Sometimes folks are afraid of "starting over with a new therapist" or "having to rehash the past". It's totally valid to be nervous about opening up to a new person, practically a stranger, but the good news is, we can start right where you are! I have found my "home" as a therapist with the intervention called EMDR, but have witnessed the benefits of other interventions I am trained in including: CBT, DBT, CAMS, and Expressive Arts Therapies. Suicidal ideation, depression, and trauma (including surviving abuse) are my specialties.

At its best, therapy is a healing relationship. A central goal as your therapist is to understand you and with that knowledge, to help you understand yourself better. The world outside is often intense, overwhelming, and disheartening. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore how your life experiences have impacted your view of yourself, your relationships, and humanity itself.

I'm Logan (they/them) and I'm an East Asian non-binary person who has lived insight into what it’s like to not be white, cis, or straight in a state like Ohio. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life, and I also come from a background of being raised in Christian/immigrant communities. I have experience working with the following: QTBIPOC communities, neurodivergent people, and people living with HIV. I’ve also got experience working specifically with trans clients who are exploring their transition process. I think it's crucial to provide empowering and identity-specific therapy spaces, especially for QTBIPOC right now.

I am currently not accepting new clients as of 9/6/2023 (does not apply to new folks I'm already in communication with). I am a queer nonbinary therapist offering individual teletherapy for adults. I welcome all diverse individuals, relationships, spiritualities, expressions, & identities. I work extensively with, and enjoy working with gender & sexual minorities, intersecting identities, immigrants, parents/caregivers, & neurodivergent populations. I often work with folks experiencing stress, self-exploration, life transitions, grief, trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression & dissociation.

I work with individuals, and relationships of all configurations, including poly, CNM, open, and monogamous, as well as folx navigating different types of trauma, anxiety, loss, burnout, and existential dread. I am dedicated to a trauma-informed, person-centered, compassionate approach. Most people long to be seen and witnessed, just as they are. Change and growth occur more easily with the right kind of support present.

I’m Tosha a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent, licensed social worker in Ohio. In my practice, I specialize in offering affirming, supportive therapy to LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent youth and young adults learn to accept, and eventually, love themselves for who they are. If you are working through your gender identity or sexuality, I am here to provide support on your journey! I believe having a safe space to process your feelings, struggles and thoughts is something everyone should have access to. I am here to validate you and encourage you to accept and love yourself while finding your most authentic self!

My goal for the counseling relationship is to create a safe environment while offering support to clients struggling with feeling alone, misunderstood, or lost. I show up for clients with an open mind and an opportunity to share their thoughts, express their feelings, and explore their experiences. Everyone deserves the opportunity to speak their truth and be heard and affirmed in return.

The climb towards resiliency and wholeness can prove to be steep. Beginning that process in the midst of painful life circumstances and finding a therapist who is well equipped, and a good fit to make that climb with you, can prove to be another difficult endeavor. If you find yourself struggling with relationship challenges rooted in family of origin (complex trauma), a cruel inner critic, or are recovering from high control spiritual/religious communities or purity culture, then we may be a good fit. I work with adults, primarily LGBTQIA+ identifying folx, to develop balance and peace within their lives and relationships.

I am passionate about helping people turn pain from the past into power for the future. Practicing good self-care can seem so secondary when we must juggle school with employment with caring for loved ones and keeping up with housework. Together we will use coping skills, de-cluttering, and time management to put yourself first and improve productivity.

My passion as a therapist is to empower queer and trans, and nonbinary folks to embrace their authentic selves. Rooted in an anti-oppression framework, my mission is to co-create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore healing through the development of a therapeutic relationship founded in authenticity, openness, and connection. Jack provides couples counseling for spouses/partners/co-parents who are struggling to communicate; adjusting to marriage, cohabitation, or the demands of parenting; dealing with ADHD, addiction, infidelity, or trauma; and/or considering marriage, cohabitation, separation, or divorce. Jack also works with individuals (ages 15+) who are coping with the impact of ADHD, anxiety, depressive symptoms, trauma, and/or relationship challenges.

I do my best work with adults who experience the cumulative effects of microaggressions steeped in oppressive attitudes. I enjoy assisting clients with clarifying their most cherished values and helping them construct enforceable boundaries to protect their peace, the relationships that matter most to them, and, if need be, ending relationships that no longer serve them. I am honored when I am entrusted with the task of helping clients work through the traumas they endured so that they can reclaim ownership of their lives, bodies, and choices and return to feeling able to live safely in the moment.
