I am non-binary transwoman and my pronouns are she/they. I've been practicing for 14 years. I've worked with clients across the life span and from many varied backgrounds. My areas of expertise are gender and sexuality, particularly LGBTQ issues, and trauma. I have been an advocate and educator as well as a member of the LGBTQ community for over 30 years.

I believe that we all have needs that drive our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The need to connect, to be seen, to be heard, to succeed, to feel alive... Sometimes we are successful in getting our needs met, sometimes we are not. Often, we think there is only one way to be. We see and interpret our experiences with the patterns we establish in our early years. These ways of interacting in the world aren't always as effective or helpful as they may have been when we were young. Fortunately, we can change.

My practice is LGBTQ-affirming and my specialties include depression, trauma, emotional neglect, and grief. I work with people who have endured all kinds of traumas and a wide range of life challenges. I am skilled in supporting teens and adults in all life stages who value living the examined life.
