I believe therapy is a space where you can unload things that you are struggling to carry alone, develop clear insight, build greater self-compassion, and address barriers that keep you from achieving your goals. The first step in doing any one of these things is building a strong relationship with your therapist. I strive to make this possible by providing an open, judgement-free, and warm space where you can share who you are and what you are struggling to manage. I regularly work with folx age 14 and up on finding ways to manage their anxious or depressive thinking, and alleviate their stress.

Our literal and figurative diasporas disrupt the connection we have to our existential, somatic, relationship, and environmental health. I specialize in supporting the diasporic health of disabled, queer and/or trans, racialized lived experience of all income classes whose experiences are sometimes called Au/DHD, BPD, and/or (C-)PTSD. In our sessions, we'll co-develop practices and rituals you need to thrive with and within your community. Using person-centered and strength-based evidence-based practices, we can map, structure, process, and equip you to navigate life’s terrains.

The areas I specialize in include working with mood disorders, young adults, parenting support, various life transitions, and I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals as a non-binary therapist (they/them), most especially with gender identity issues. I am also passionate about helping individuals going through infertility experiences, as my wife and I experienced this struggle firsthand before we had our child using IVF treatment. I love offering a compassionate approach to these sensitive subjects as individuals navigate their options and explore the complex emotions associated with infertility in therapy.

As a therapist at SEC, I believe you are the master of your own life and that therapy is a joint process that we can navigate together. Our mission is to provide more accessible services to underserved clients, particularly in the LGBTQIA+ community, folx with neurodivergence, racial and ethnic minorities, and for other underserved populations who lack access to in-person services. I also understand the value and support that comes from online communities including gaming communities and Geek hobby communities.

Life hardship comes in many forms: emotional distress, trauma, relationship problems, physical or psychological feelings of unsafety. Salutation. I believe in using a holistic approach to finding self-healing. I am excited to aid individuals and families on their healing journey. I have 6+ years of working with women and children. My expertise is in client-centered care, focusing on the client's needs, and goals. My primary areas of interest are women's issues, trauma/ PTSD, race, and identity conflict. My ideal client groups are youth 5 to 13 years and adults. I have extensive experience working with very diverse groups of people and would love the opportunity to partner with you to see how I could be of service.
