Trauma-Informed Parent Group - Online!
Sheba P. Katz Psychologist, PhD, LP, LSP, NCSP (239) 205-3320 About Network Groups Verified by Psychology Today Trauma-Informed Parent Group This group is focused on recognizing past parental trauma, how it is passed on through generations. It focuses on ways to “break the cycle” by engaging parents in exploration of their own emotional world and patterns, in order to create more positive relationships between parents and their children. In this way, the children benefit tremendously, as the parents learn to become more mindful and present, compassionate, less stressed, and more supported by their community.
Learning Strategies: Middle/High School - Online!
This group is for students to help them finish the school year with success. The group will address challenges associated with online learning by working on organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and study skills. Middle and high school students will be separated by age.
