If you've hit a wall in achieving change, you might have come to the right place. I use a combination of somatic & top-down approaches to support the healing process I see teens & adults, and specialize in serving BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, autistic, and ADHDer communities. Over the last 10 years, I have developed targeted skills to support people with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, & burnout. While venting can be incredibly helpful, I hope to provide support beyond that. I use DBT to help you learn tangible coping skills to get through escalated emotions or dissociation in the present.

My primary goal in working in mental health is to put myself out of a job. Given that each of us intrinsically know what we need to heal and grow, my approach to psychotherapy is to couple your expertise of being you–your reality and lived experiences–with my skillset, in order to collaboratively work towards achieving your goals. Through a culturally-affirming and healing-centered stance, I utilize evidence-based treatments to facilitate our work. NOTE: I’m now able to work with folx in California, Texas, and New Jersey! Clinical supervision in California only :)

As queer, transgender, Asian American, and neurodivergent, my therapeutic stance combines my professional and personal experiences with what I learn from you so we may co-create the best approach. Allow me to walk with you on your path, and I will lend guidance and perspective without ever imposing my will over yours. Let’s work together to find the next steps to whatever you bring, the middle path between the burdens and the joys. This can be more somatic-leaning, philosophically-inclined, skills-based, or any combination thereof.

I have extensive experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds in navigating a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, panic, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, and major life transitions. My practice is rooted in hope and liberation. As such, I’m deeply committed to working with traditionally underserved communities, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQIA+, ENM (ethically monogamous), kinky, disabled, immigrant and children of immigrants, and monolingual Spanish-speakers.

Amidst the chaos of living under outdated and oppressive systems, the average person can struggle to make sense of their place and purpose in the world, not to mention the challenges of connecting with family, friends, and communities. We all fluctuate through life's transitions, and sometimes it can feel more like falling than flowing. If you're looking for skills to help you through the falls and a place to practice embodying the flows, this might be the place for you.

Your healing is a radical and personal act. My approach to therapy is to join your narrative and learn what would make healing and change “worth it for you.” Understanding how significant it is to share the honest entirety of our stories, I hope to take compassionate risks alongside you without the fear of losing ourselves or others. Utilizing philosophies rooted in community-based teachings and dialogues, my mission is to align with your personal beliefs and values as it relates to your healer within.
