I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment and diagnostic evaluation of adolescents and adults. My main focus is helping people develop insight and awareness into behaviors and emotions, thus leading to change in all aspects of life. I specialize in treatment of patients coping with anxieties, traumas, personality challenges, relationships, life transitions (including motherhood), identity issues, self-esteem, and overall problems of living. My goal is to work together with my patients to develop insight to foster change and movement in their lives.
My approach to therapy is to create a space to get curious, enable the exploration of fantasies, dreams, and emotions. Through this, patients can begin to learn more about themselves, their fears, anxieties, and blocks that they have placed throughout their lives. When appropriate, I also integrate mindfulness, CBT skills, and DBT skills.
I am warm and empathic, ensuring a safe space for patients to process their experiences. I believe the best and most effective treatment stems from a connection between the therapist and patient.
